Simple Car-Themed Mod by La carotte d l'o

We end this month with another car-themed project and La carotte d l'o's project is entitled just that - Simple Car-Themed Mod. However, we think there's a bit of modesty going on here as the project is actually starting to look rather nice - and the process has been anything but simple!


There's some hardcore modding going on for starters, with the angle grinder and welder just a couple of tools that La carotte d l'o has at his disposal. We can also see a mock up of what appears to be a section added to the front of the case.


There's plenty of old school work going on here too with vents being cut into a panel. The section on the right looks awesome with a brushed metal finish added to the frame, which appears to have been welded together.


An interesting little hard drive caddy made an appearance recently in the newer updates and the case has got increasingly car-like as it gets closer to completion - well, we suppose that is the whole point!


Finally, the front of the case received a much-needed coat of paint and there's even the making of a chrome bumper here too. The finish and attention to detail in the metalwork is stunning, with the various sections melded together almost seamlessly. Again, like several other projects this month, we suspect this one is going to get even better as time goes on.
